Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Dr. David Hyndman Optometrist a proud provider of vision care products and services in Boonville.

David Hyndman, O.D.

Dr. Hyndman has been practicing in Boonville since 1997. He is an active member of the community as a member of the Boonville Lions Club, the Boonville Kiwanis Club, and the Southwestern Optometric Society. He is currently president of the Lions Club and has served at least two years as president of the other two organizations. He is a member of both the American and Indiana Optometric Associations. Dr. Hyndman is also an active member of Mt. Gilead G.B. Church.

He loves to help people see the world better and maintain that ability. He manages and treats patients with glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts, and also performs exams for diabetic retinal evaluations. David is also a colorblind expert and has the largest selection of special tints to help the colorblind see our beautiful world in all its glory.


Bethany Ford, O.D.

Dr. Ford was raised in Boonville and has been seeing patients in her hometown since 2023. She is a graduate of Oakland City University, where she played collegiate volleyball. She went on to attend Indiana University School of Optometry, where she was an associate instructor and graduated with honors. Dr. Ford was awarded associate instructor of the year in 2022, voted by her students. She is an active member of our community, currently serving as secretary of the Boonville Lions Club and a member of the Southwestern Optometric Society, IOA, and AOA.

She attends church at Boonville Worship Center. Dr. Ford is passionate about improving others’ lives, health, and vision through exceptional optometric care. She manages glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic exams, pediatrics, and specialty contact lenses. Dr. Ford strives to make every visit thorough, educational, and friendly for her patients and their families.
