Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Dr. David Hyndman Optometrist a proud provider of vision care products and services in Boonville.

David Hyndman O.D

Dr. Hyndman has been practicing in Boonville since 1997. He is an active member of the community, as a member of the Boonville Lions club, Boonville kiwanis club, and the southwestern optometric society. He is currently president of the Lions club and has served at least two years as president of the other two organizations. He is a member of both the American and Indiana optometric associations. Dr. Hyndman is also an active member of Mt. Gilead G.B Church. He loves to help people see the world better and maintain that ability. He manages and treats patients with glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts and also performs exams for diabetic retinal evaluations. David is also a colorblind expert and has the largest selection of special tints to help the colorblind see our beautiful world in all its glory.


David Phillips O.D.

Dr. Phillips has been practicing optometry since 1974 and currently works in the office of Dr. David Hyndman. He is an emeriths member of the Indiana board of optometry, having been a board member from 2001-2005. While in optometry school he taught oculer pathology and pharmacology. Dr. Phillips treats patients with glaucoma, macular degeneration, and co manages patients with cataracts. He does diabetic retinal evaluations as well and also treats colorblind patients. Dr. Phillips is an associate pastor and teacher at Living Hope Community Church. His passion is helping patients see better to function in their environment and life with their ultimate visual potential.
